MONTOURSVILLE, PA— CRS Advanced Technology is pleased to announce the release of the newest version of SubFinder®, their flagship software product. SubFinder Version 6.0 includes highly anticipated functionality designed to further increase efficiency for users and improve employee and substitute management.
Customers will now have the option of multi-tier absence approval on different levels ranging from the site level to the district level. The required tiers for approval, as well as who should approve each type of absence, will be configured per absence reason. Once approved, SubFinder will begin the process of securing a substitute if one is required.
New email notifications have been added for administrators, including notifications for administrators who are required to approve absences or jobs, notifications when an absence has been approved or disapproved, and notifications when an absence or job has been modified. Employees will receive notifications when an absence is approved or disapproved and when modifications are made to any absence. Substitutes will receive notifications if they have been requested for a job, if a previously assigned job has been modified, as well as reminders of upcoming jobs. Both employees and substitutes will now receive reminders of impending certification expiration.
A new configuration setting will allow substitutes to manage the sites at which they work. If enabled, the substitute can only manage the sites at which they have been assigned to work by the operator or administrator. A substitute may expand the area in which he/she wants to work by adding more sites, or they may reduce their area by designating the sites at which they do not want to work. This new setting provides substitutes with added flexibility in managing their preferred sites. Additional configuration settings have been added based on customer feedback.
