CRS Advanced Technology Announces SubFinder 5.11 Upgrade Release

MONTOURSVILLE, PA—CRS Advanced Technology is pleased to announce the release of the newest version of SubFinder®, our flagship software product. SubFinder Version 5.11 includes many anticipated features and enhancements designed to enrich the user experience and increase efficiency, as well as provide improved functionality and additional options.

Communication is at the very heart of our enhancements; from our customers' feedback regarding future product development, to responding to their requests to improve SubFinder as a communications tool. All SubFinder 5.11 enhancements will enhance communication and understanding for users.

SubFinder operators will now be able to view and add special instructions and file attachments to jobs. Additionally, operators and administrators will have the ability to add job notes. Site administrators may now be given permission to stop SubFinder from calling on a job it is actively trying to fill. In beta testing of the new SubFinder version, this new ability was deemed to be a favorite, reducing stress on site administrators who previously lacked this option.

Substitutes now have the ability to provide feedback regarding their job though Substitute Notes, keeping the absent employee informed about the time he/she was out of the classroom. The substitute notes are viewable by the absent employee, site administrator, and SubFinder operator. This optional feature also includes the ability to send email notifications to the applicable site administrators and employees when substitute notes are added or edited.

The addition of job positions to the itinerant schedules will further assist our customers in placing the most qualified substitutes. Any positions the itinerant employee is scheduled to work during the course of their absence will be considered when evaluating substitutes' qualifications for the job.
